Six Trips

The project refers to the rovers NASA sent to Mars in order to examine the planet, and the visual documentation sent back to Earth. The artworks display traces and remnants that were created with resistant materials that can endure the voyage to outer space as well as extreme environmental conditions.

The installation in the gallery disassembles parts from the rovers including panels, wheels, etc., and reassembles them in a space combining these amputated parts with the raw information it recorded and collected on Mars. Ultimately, the result is an advanced hybrid that fuses different and complex points of view; a place where space and time are no longer defined.
